I am honored to have your post on GuitarFlame.com since you have a different experience regarding music, being a music teacher.
Your post, in my opinion, brings an other perspective on this subject, perspective that not many of us can share. Guitar world is full of players that have no musical studies (like me, for ex) and rely only on their feeling and self-taught theory, so speaking from the point of view of a musician teaching musicians brings an other light on the subject.
