There’s not much gasoline (petrol) available in Atlanta. We filled up before we crossed the state line and even the Alabama stations were out of most grades of fuel. After a filling Philly Cheesesteak from the Metro Diner, we walked the 2 blocks to registration. We’re staying at the convention hotel, but exhibits and registration is 2 blocks away. Now the opening showcases are moments away and at a different hotel! I’m going to try to get some video. Tomorrow I scheduled a face-to-face meeting with a National Endowment for the Arts person about grantwriting; I’ll let you know how that goes. I’ve got my flip camera with me and will be looking for folks to interview. Wish me luck!

UPDATE – I’ve got lots to talk about {especially regarding running live sound at an event}. It’s 20 minutes to midnight and I think my ears are bleeding! Tibetian throat singing! I’ll try to get video and pics up tomorrow. Tonight I need to take some aspirin and retire ASAP.
